So what’s the big news you ask? We finally found a drummer! After a yearlong quest, the ever-punctual Tim Lykins joins us as we prepare for our Winter adventures…more music (shows below), our first t-shirts, and our first song written together. Tim comes from an eclectic background of rock (opening for Weezer and Blues Traveler) to Broadway shows, playing the kit and percussion. Nick, Matt, and Hammer feel fortunate to be able to welcome him into the band.

Big Mosey is throwing our CD Release show at the Seaside Tavern (10p) tonight for our new EP, Homeward At Daybreak, and we just got an interview in the Stamford Advocate:

Jacob and crew meet those travails – from the pressures of day-to-day existence to the fragmented nature of modern society – head on.  Flanked by Jacob’s gravelly baritone, the group churns out gritty, feverish alt-rock stabs that summon backwoods Southern blues and dense slogging funk.
