Evan Hammer wrote the music and lyrics, and recorded it with singers Ariel Levine, Ben Miller, Joe Barney, and Ross Beshear.

"Addictive, unique, and pocketed full of mystery...[the] 'vocal mojo' is off the charts, and despite all this it manages to remain somewhat comical and upbeat."

thank you dad & mom [for listening, not listening, all the words and advice, the hard work, and for balancing each other out so well], zach [for my stabilityhappiness and for giving me someone to look up to], britt [for radiating teal/beautiful - i got teal on the brain even when my piano turns into a monster and ravages my room], roophy, tom, ben, and brij, d [for convincing me to change the album name]. lubin, conrad, peterson, and lee - thanks for rocking out with your souls on the outside, letting them go mad. thank you to all the men who supported me in the fall of twothousandthree while i wrote most of the music. thank you to all my former band mates - cam, james, sean, & spring, evan & ady, james & phil. to my music teachers, thank you.
most importantly, to certain people that i met in passing, or that i knew in passing, thanks for all the pauses, and small exchanges, and moments of connection and separation, and for lending me that pencil in the music room on the corner of hope and power, but mostly for helping me to rebuild the world. thank you mom.
these songs were written by a younger man.
